The Boyan Choir of Kiev have visited Bury regularly over many years and been accommodated in the homes of local people for the one night they are here.

The association organises social events throughout the year to raise funds which are used to cover expenditure when we receive visitors from our twin towns.

During 2007 the following events took place:

February: French dinner at Bury College

April:Twinning visit from Schorndorf to Bury  Twinning visit from Bury to Tulle

November American  Thanksgiving  Dinner at Bury College

During 2008 we held the following events

February:  “French” themed dinner at Bury College

October: Visit to Schorndorf

During 2009 we celebrated 4 anniversaries of twinning

A themed dinner at the 3Czons restaurant at Bury College

Phorographic exhibition at the Bury Met Theatre

Show at the Bury Met Theatre featuring the Marionnettes from Angouleme, soprano Ginesa Pina and local band The Dodgers
